During 1916-1917 my great uncle, William Hothersall, was stationed in Colchester where he was befriended by a family called Jupp who then lived at 4, Rawstorn Road. I have in my possession letters sent to my great grandmother, William's mother, from a young lady, who signs herself sometimes as Dora and sometimes as Daisie Jupp. Some were sent before he was killed in July 1917 and some after. She also sent a photograph of her daughter who looked as if she had been born around 1914.
Since researching William's life and visiting his grave in Belgium, I would now like to contact any descendents of Dora/Daisie Jupp.
