Dear BMWA,

please be so kind as to create an "anti-Paul Birch, SteveH message board".

Thanx.

Please clarify

May 30 2002, 7:18 PM

Do you mean:

i) "Anti" in the sense that people who are against Paul Birch, Steve H, etc should use it;

or,

ii) Do you mean a message board they they themselves use, as a means of separation?

Hmm, Paul seems a pretty reasonable fella...
SteveH of course only posts rubbish, on the other hand, no-one replies to him either.

Of course, people only reply to you, Ralf, as you speak such incredible amounts of, and often *rude* nonsense, that people cannot help but respond.

P.S. To ralf:

Considerning I stood up for you in front of an occasional poster's "direct attack" on you somewhere else in this forum, I now have a somewhat different opinion of you - worth knowing, yes?

(now I'm back to laughing again!)

Further suggestion

It will not encourage sensible debate if we start imposing limitations on one another.

Lets try to be civil with each other no matter how much we disagree.

I would like to make one suggestion of my own however. Some of these threads do get very long and the subject drifts well away from the original thought or topic.

Often it goes away from the subject of metric/versus imperial altogether.

So if that starts to happen then do as Paul Birch did with Ralf and start a new thread. Or perhaps if you have had enough say so.
