BWMA Member and ARM supporter and donor Eddie Worster (Hertfordshire) has received the following personal letter from Charles Moore, Editor of the 'Daily Telegraph' (dated 14 June 2002), which speaks for itself:

"Thank you for your letter. I have spoken to the relevant people here and I am pleased to say that in future our catalogues will restore imperial measurements. I think you are right about this".

One thing I like about the Telegraph- asides from reflecting, broadly, my political ideology- is that it gives measurements in Imperial/customary, and not just the "common" ones- acre-feet and so on get a mention too!

Not that much of a victory then since they were already pro-imperial.

Someone said "Wow, Bully for you!"
Well you continue supporting the bullies, we rely on public support and not "officials".

This is two words that Conrad, Ralf and co can never say in their arguments... "Public Support"
