A question: Why is it that the metricators fail to reailse that for some tasks fractional is better and others decimal? I find it really hard to uderstand why they can't mix the two- do they have some kind of mental block or disease? (re: recent 'discussions' on the "Metric Sucks" forum)
note: the french "50 Centimes" was actually designated, on the coin, as the "½ Franc"
