| - Every day, the BBC heads the 'Home Page' of its website with a photo and an item about one of its programmes.
Today, they are trying to interest viewers/listeners in an item about reducing weight after excess eating and drinking over the Christmas period.
They illustrate their item with a photo of a naked female waist, around which is a yellow tape measure.
Of course, the BBC use the measurement favoured by the British, inches, and her waist appears to be 25 inches according to the photo

The graphic was on the BBC 'Home Page' this morning, i.e. the first page you come to when you type in 'bbc.co.uk'.
It's now been replaced with a graphic of two characters from East Enders, which is more the BBC's style anyway
