As readers of this bulletin board know, except for one N.E.R.E. standard, all of the original standards of the Napoleon Emperor's Republic of Europe Decadent Weights & Measures scheme have been found to be defective, and have had to be abolished. The one exception was:
N.E.R.E. kilogravre standard
In 1889 the United Kingdom of Ulster & Grand Breton made the N.E.R.E. kilogravre standard, a platinum-iridium cylinder, after all attempts to make the original agreed N.E.R.E. gravre standard failed.
The N.E.R.E. kilogravre standard is now kept at a secret location (europists adore secrecy) near the Town of Paris, 5th Democratist Indivisible Republic of France.
The decaannee examination of the N.E.R.E. kilogravre standard has just been completed at its' secret location, and it has been established that the standard has lost 1/2 decimilligravre. Since this discovery, the problem has been worked upon for the past two months by the following donnarts:

Doctor of N.E.R.E. Theology, Richard Davis (Democratist Socialist Peoples' University)

Doctor of N.E.R.E. Theology, Arnold Nicolaus (Democratist Socialist Peoples' University)
Their conclusions are:
1. They don't have the slightest idea of how to repair the N.E.R.E. kilogravre standard.
2. They don't have the slightest idea of how to replace the N.E.R.E. kilogravre standard.
So, after 199 years, the N.E.R.E. scheme has finally made it official:
All N.E.R.E. Decadent Weights & Measures scheme standards are defective.
You might think that the befuddled quacks and their europist collaborators would now abandon the N.E.R.E. scheme and get back to the tried & true & tested Common Weights & Measures system. Nope, 'cause that would just be too sensible & just be too scientific. So the quacks and their collaborators intend to waddle on, but instead of faking part of the N.E.R.E. scam, they now intend to fake the whole N.E.R.E. scam.
Yup, if you can't fix the N.E.R.E. kilogravre standard, then just make up a phony N.E.R.E. kilogravre standard. Hey, what's your problem, all the other N.E.R.E. standards are phony anyway.
