I never posed that question. What I would say, though, is that I think a US pt should become exactly 1/60cuft, a UK pt 1/50cuft, and the adoption of my cupalm system.

'xcole' seems to post these long 'responses' simultaneously to the 'Metric Sucks' board; no one seems to know what he is 'responding' to over there, either. (The voices in his head?)

I see that my posting says that it has been edited by the moderators. I can not see any change, however, and I would like to know why this has occurred.
I hope you are not defending 'xcole'. In my opinion, he is the only poster I have seen here who truly should be banned. His meaningless posts make all advocated of traditional measures look bad.

Andrew, what are your thoughts on English system reform?

I am assuming 'B Parry' is 'Bryan Parry'.
I believe I have expressed my views on reform in previous posts but will summarise again. I do not support any new definitions of units. I do believe we should agree on one English system that (as I just mentioned in the other thread) should use US measures of weight but UK measures of capacity. I have also supported using sexagesimal division, in particular, the pace of 60 inches and mile of 1,000 paces.
