Are you sure you hit Post rather than Preview? I do that sometimes, especially if it is a brand new thread.

Thanks, that might explain it.

Bud - yes I'm aware of the preview thing, there's also a bug that makes it show a preview if you hit post, when the message is small (which is highly irritating).

However, my original post did make it to the board as I went back and re-read it before going off to Cardiff for an amazing weekend (just incase I got a response!)
