The Customary Measurement Society

As no-one on the Imperial side ever hides anything or gives a misleading answer, I am sure that the CMS will give a full & complete answer to the following questions....

1) How many members do you have?
2) Who are the (real) officeholders (no false names please Tony - Percy Peck's address should be disclosed if you wish to retain any credibility)
3) Do the office-holders have real addresses that members of the public could write to, or is every address in Harlow?

As I say in another thread, the ball is in your court......

What is CMS? I have never heard of them. Are they affiliated with BWMA?

REPLY: This is completely contrary to what you - and many other metric zealots - have said on these boards

I use CMS regularly in my work. It is a comupter software product "Code Management System" which is matketed by HP to run on their VMS operating system.

Tony - have you ever looked up the word "zealot"?

If you know what it means you will see that of all the people on this board, YOU fit the description best. Beranger probably least.

I have to agree - although Mr Bergermeister can play the devil's advocate game quite well I don't see him as a zealot. A zealot wouldn't casually and ocassionally use imperial measures in his own posts as Bergy does.

I don't regard Andy as a zealot too.

In fact I'd go as far to say that martin is not a zealot - maybe just an overenthusiast.

The only "zealot" here is Daniel - with his utter nonsense that even the pro-metric USMA are getting sick and tired of.

Metre (real name "eric") cannot be a zealot because you have to know what you're trying to be a zealot of to be one.

There is a poster who posts on the open forum as "Anonymous" (I believe I know his true identity) who is a "superzealot". Mainly because 1) He see's me as an imperial extremist and 2) He gloats about phoning authorities about small-traders using lb-machinery to try to eradicate imperial in the most sinister way.

He also laughs at signs with "Kilo" being written larger than "Lb". Now *that's* zealotry!

(*That's* also slightly disturbing and members of the public are warned not to approach a man in his 40's, white, 5ft 3in, who regularly laughs at price information)

"I have to agree "

Oops! I agree with the 1st bit not the second!

I don't see Tony as a zealot - I see him as a renegade! A much better adjective.
