From this afternoon's match report on the BBCi SPORT web-pages:

"Despite Jimmy Bullard clearing the crossbar by inches from a well-worked 20-yard free-kick, it was Newcastle looked revitalised after the break..."

Such a shame for all those metric-educated youngsters being forced to read about all these 'Fred Flintstone' units. Don't the BBC have an ounce of common sense?

Those inches and yards will be very useful to them in the unemployment, bread and soup kitchen lines.

In what way Daniel?

Are the presenters going to lose their jobs? Or are the footballers going to be sacked? Do tell us, if you know more information.

And for what reason will they be losing their jobs?
