| - Spotted at a roundabout at the crossing of the A421 and B4033 about half a mile from Great Horwood, North Bucks, a red rectangular sign with "ROAD CLOSED 1,000 METRES" in white lettering.
I have written about it to Bucks CC and Anglian Water, who were digging up the road in question.

No responses to my letters yet but this morning I noticed that the "1,000 metres" has now been been covered over with black tape.

Anglian Water have informed me that the metric sign was replaced by an imperial one on Monday 3.3.03.
This is not quite true. See my last post.
