what do people make of David Batch's comments on Jon Challinor in the CEN?

I didn't think he was alone in having a poor first half, the midfield as a whole didn't really compete

whatever the reasons behind the argument a public falling-out between the manager and a regular in the starting line-up isn't going to help when cracks are rumoured to be emerging behind the scenes especially ahead of a 'must-win' game tomorrow night
