Surely people at the club must be able to see cracks appearing between the Manager and his players. Once the Manager loses the respect of his players he doesn't stand a chance. David Batch may be an excellent coach but not necessarily a good Manager, I don't know. What I do know is that when you start publically running your players down then something must be wrong. It's easy to say 'heat of the moment', but we have too many of those at present.
