| - Well, I can't believe the relegation issue has come so close to the wire. I had been confident for months that City's games in hand meant you would pull away from the drop-zone comfortably before season's end. Instead, things really are quite uncomfortable.
It just underlines something I have always felt, which is that draws get you in trouble.
Still, just one win ought to do it, didn't it?? |

I reckon a win and a draw from our last three games will be enough. That will give us 50 points and it has been said on this board before that only one team has been relegated on 50 or over in the last twenty years.
Games in hand..hmm....all very well but as you have suggested you have to win them, City haven't. things are dicey for us at the moment, but there are others who have more to worry about, and some of them play each other in the run-in.
No surprise that we are cutting it so fine, we've been here all too often. |

Good to see that City have pulled it round after Fallon.
They really have excelled in the last few years, on a tight budget aswell.
I am not a Fallon fan before you all berate me, it's just that what has changed at City in the last 5 or 6 years.
We seem the same 250 crowd club we were and a decent gate arrives with the away team or a penalty comp.
Overall, I can't see much ambition or improvement in the club at all.
Any responses? | |
