nothing to choose between the sides first half, second half Histon were by far the better side and deserved the win, there are no "reserve team" excuses this time for our loss. Yes, we had Gutzmore and Vowden missing but the team we put out should have at least made a game of it. Dave Batch said the result was unimportant, but getting the footballing side right (ie perform well even if you lose) was what we were looking for, well if that clueless, powderpuff performance was getting it right then heaven help us when Newport come calling next Saturday!!

I think after todays debacle the players owe us fans one BIG TIME!!!!!

Not a good day to be a City fan. I know its only a pre-season friendly, but there was a pot up for grabs, even if it was a piss-pot. And it would have been nice to put Histon in their place, but alas, it was not to be. We were pretty awful but you have to give credit and say well played to Histon. As long as they turn Kings Lynn over twice I may be able to forgive them
