| - Lets be honest we haven't been playing well and when we have managed to get a result its never been convincing. After the first four games when the defence leaked goals we adopted a more cautious approach which seems to have caught up with us in our most important game of the season. I didn't get there today but do appreciate a match report with a City bias such as the one that thought City should have won 10-1 at Lynn in the pre-season friendly. Were there any positives from todays game or should we be giving youth its chance? I can't believe were not in the hat for the next round as all the other local teams had a good day. Talk about a waste of money, little wonder we want to sell the ground so Hamilton and Co can enjoy a more flamboyant lifestyle. I can never see our money being wisely spent. |

I had surgery last Friday to repaire 5 hernias and that was no where near as painful as watching City today, we were diabolical the only positive from the game was that there wasn't too much extra time, Ross we are in deep S--T if something isn't done soon I don't know if anyone agrees with me but thats the way I see it. |

Our squad is better than last season's, but we have little to show for it so far. I see our greatest problem as being in centre midfield. We have Wilson and Skelly who are both basically defensive minded players - which is why we have scored just 2 and conceded just 2 in the last 4 matches. We don't give enough support to the forwards. The opposition tend to have the upper hand in the area of the pitch where it matters. We really need to give Rob Nightingale a chance in the middle alongside Wilson, with Skelly moving to left midfield (or left back) and Wilde playing up front with Gutzmore or Wilkin. |

When Lynn got promoted, Skelly was one of my favourite players. He was so exciting and had a great future ahead of him. I find it terribly disheartening to see him played out of position. He is wasted at the moment playing where he is, and in the last few Lynn/Cambridge fixtures he has been anonymous. Get him on the left and see what magic he is capable of. | |
