Whilst all the team played well on Saturday the one player I was really pleased with was Darren 'Dazza' Collins. That was the Darren Collins I hoped we'd signed in the summer. He will know how dissapointing he's been and heard all the stick that has been directed at him, particularly last week at Lynn.
His response was fantastic. I for one would now like to see him add some consistency to his game but I feel that his performance was based upon showing confidence in the other players around him who played the ball on the floor and creating chance after chance.
This is what he has been used to through out his career, playing for a winning side, craeting chances by playing good pass move football.
More of the same against Hastings lads and keep it going Dazza.
