To call him "spineless" was going to far. It does seem like Lundy was looking for any excuse to slam him and found one when Clausen tried to weasel out of what he said last year.
But journalists are routinely attacked for their credibility, and most of the time it is unwarranted. Do you honestly believe the Sentinel made that quote up? Casey said, he couldn't back it up, and he choked on his words.
