Even though this years vol team had no "superstar" they did in the last half of the season figure out what teamwork was all about. In the years past we have counted on the "superstar" to carry us. Need I mention 2001 and 2002. Maybe this year was a blessing after all. It helped the vols remember that football is a "team" sport. NOT A SUPERSTAR SPORT. I truly believe that is why they did as well as they did 10-2 is an awesome record for a team in the SEC, and especially since their schedule was like it was (ie Miami, Florida, Georgia, Auburn and the like). Hopefully they will carry this attitude into next when they will have some seasoned runners and receivers (Riggs, Banks,). But if they forget teamwork and just let the superstar do the work again. Well who knows.
