We as fans need to sometimes just get a grip on reality...we won 10 games...tied for the East...and have a great nucelus of players on both sides of the ball returning. P.S...we are not going to win the conference or N.C. every year. That doesn't mean that shouldn't be the goal...but we ALL know it won't happen that often (no matter which football program we are talking about). As far as Mark Jones is concerned, I have not been on the practice field one time in the last 4 years...Coach Fulmer has! Also, if you will remember, Mark Jones has had several injuries that might have prevented him from playing like he did this year. Fear not...the Big Orange is still the Big Orange, and will be a contender as long as Coach Fulmer is in control of things. THANKS COACH...for a job well done! NOW: From the players perspective...how do you mentally prepare to play at the level that the Clemson players were, when it is a David and Goliath match-up? It reminded me of the 1986 Sugar Bowl....and by the way, Miami did come back from that game. |
