Response to next year |
| my memory is not that short. I don't think UT will be as good as they were last year. Let's face it those of us who have been around a while know that something is just not right in the way UT has played over the last 3-4 years. Even with a 10-win season the play was just god-awful, and thats what I see more than the wins, thats how you/I gauge how good the team is. When I watched the LSU/OK NC game there were a couple of times when they did aerial camera shots looking down on the game, I was amazed at how well coached LSU was on every play they showed LSU would go right to the key player that each defender had no one was forgotton or left open they would freeze it in replay and say the same thing. UT has not been that well coached or willing to execute in years, theres always that one blown block or missed tackle or open reciever or a guy who pushes the pile forward when 3 guys are pushing backward to stop the 3rd and 1 first down play, or the guy who gets the personal foul on the 3rd or 4th down play to keep the drive alive. offense is just plain chaos, it appears more that things happen in spite of themselves like UT didn't really mean to make it happen. I still can't believe the Georgia goal line debacle. I would just like to see UT come out one year and look business-like, like Nebraska used to under T.Osbourne they would just line up whip you pick you up dust you off and do it again until the game was over and then they quietly thanked you until they had won the NC. UT needs to desperately can that chest-thumping BS that is giving the whole state a bad name...especially since Ut CANNOT back it up. Believe ii or not I am a Die hard fan, but I just have had it with this wag-the-dog dog and pony show thats been put on for several years now. If I were fulmer I would be embarrassed. please feel free to provide insightful rebuttal. |
