Look, he's had his chances and he's blown it. He's an athlete on a full ride to college while the average Joe (like me) had to take out mucho loans. Your damn right he should be held to a different standard. Besides, it's one thing to party all night on campus, it's quite another to do it in front of a place of business.
We're taking a serious hit on character issues right now. Look at what's going on with present and and past athletes from UT. Read the other football boards - we're becoming Miami North in everybody's eyes. And yes, public perception DOES matter.
It's one thing to have a 3-4 loss with players from your own state. But by God, if we're gonna keep clowns and goons on our team, then at least we better damn well start winning some SEC championships instead of getting humiliated in the Peach Bowl!
