OUR DEFENSE

I would like to get a little dialog going concerning the defense. It liiks as if the "D" is going to be a sore spot this year. I can only equeat the defense to defenses of past years where players were attacking the line and attacking the QB and ballcarriers, this "D" looks a little skiddish I kept seeing players making the cardinal sin on defense and trying to attack around offensive players and leaving their lanes open. a player on defense always attacks through the offenseive player to the ball. I don't know I just really started realizing that we are not that good at all on "D" and will have a problem this year with many teams. Florida actually isn't that good you will see, they will lose 2-3 more games this year. I am not sure exactly which teams will give us the biggest challenge but it looks like "D" is going to be a problem. we are terrible at getting to the corners, if ron zook had sense he would have run sweeps all night, I think we stopped (1) for a minimal gain every other sweep went for at least 7 yards on either side of the field. I know john chavis is not blind to this fact and is working on it but I think we are "D" deprived this year. Those 6-7 straight 3rd down conversions was ugly. I just think we need a little attitude on "D" thats what iv'e seen and just wanted to share it. I love the win can't take nothing away there I have just been watching long enough to not get happy quite yet and yes Sanders is obviously doing a better job but the only place to go was up from where we were. Let's do this some more before we crown everybody. Please Respond!!
