well i do not like the negative stuff but i do apprecaite that we can discuss this without anyone getting mad. now here are my answers to your questions, not that my answers have to be right but this is my point of view.
1. the reason we are sitting at number 17 is bc we have 3 losses and one of them was to a not so good notre dame team. i am not saying that is where we should be but ut has always got disrespect in the polls even in the championship season. why so much disrespect? i couldn't tell you but thats just they way it is. maybe you could comment on that.
2.the reason we are at the cotton bowl is that lsu has not been there in a while so they wanted something different. and i think that the cotton bowl is better than the gator bowl and i don't think i need to comment on why aburn is ahead of us.
3.the same thing happened last year because we just didn't look that good last year so the bowl reps did not want to pick us. we never really looked that flashy at all next year.
4. and as for just being a team thats alaways ok. i just don't see it. we won a national championship in the last ten years. and we alaways play in the best confrence every year. and we are alaways at the top or on top. we have more nfl players than any other college team. if we are ok the tell me who you think is dominant. usc? than have only been good for a couple years. ou? yea they have been pretty dominat but my point is if there is anyone than you could only argue 3 or 4. even miami is having an off year.
i understand where you re coming from but i just don't think its as bad as you see it to be. anything else you have feel free to respond.
