Jason Allen

Fulmer "made a deal with the devil" in order to keep Allen from turning pro. Actually it was probably unnecessary, but nonetheless it is done. As you probably know, Allen wants to play Corner to increase his value come next draft. Who can blame him? The NFL knows a good cover corner is hard to find and tougher to keep. Safetys grow on trees, relatively speaking of course. Allen was put at safety in order to "distribute" his talent. Given the front four's inability to bring pressure, that usually meant that even his talent was spread a little thin. And if his heart is at corner, hopefully, that is where he'll give an even greater effort.

Also, like I said before: if our front four can bring pressure to bear more often this year... our secondary and John Chavis will come out looking real smart.
