blah, blah, blah. None of the specific circumstances of either call or non-call is relevant. The fact is that just as Tennessee could not score TDs in the red zone a couple of years ago against Florida, so also Florida failed to convert for TDs last year when it had the chance. Therefore if the win or loss comes down to some questionable call, it is irrelevant to the outcome. If a team takes advantage of its opportunities when it gets them, a bad call makes no difference. Last year Florida failed to do what it needed to do to win the game... period. It had plenty of opportunities and it failed to convert them to points. They set themselves up to get beat. So with a 50 yard field goal, Tennessee did just that. 3 points versus at least 3 failed attempts inside the red zone for Florida to score the TD to put the game out of reach. Do the math. Florida lost. Tennessee won. Game is history. Next subject.
