Time for Goon's SEC picks!

Tennessee is supposed to dispatch LSU in the SEC title game this year, according to SEC coaches during Media Days. Athlon's has UT doing the same, only to lose to USC in the Rose Bowl for the national title. Are we that good? Will our talent be enough to thwart our foes, or will our coaching staff have the occasional brain fart that plagues them in some games and cost us the title?

The Goon will give his forecast starting this week, complete with week by week picks, plus a rating scale of how bad the beatings will be. Since hurricane season has bean a b!tch lately, I'll rate the beatings using Categorys 1-5, with 5 being the most catastrophic to the losing team.

Cat 1 - 1-6 point margin - Close game!
Cat 2 - 7-13 points - Pretty good game!
Cat 3 - 14-20 points - Sound beating!
Cat 4 - 21-27 points - A$$ kicking!
Cat 5 - 28+ points - BURN AND PILLAGE!!
