Who could have pictured this????

I guess when the weaknesses outweigh the strengths there's no way we could have expected more than this. When you have coaching with no direction..the team will falter. You cant run a major Div1 program on a day to day basis...you need clear purpose and direction. Fulmer flew by the seat of his huge pants all season. I really wonder why, as he was never so wishy-washy in the past. The passing game was indeed pathetic as the receivers were useless in the UAB game and only regressed, and the QB's must have been playing so tight knowing that they could be hooked immediately following a TD pass...let alone an INT.

The O-line was alot better than people gave them credit for....the two brutal QB's always had plenty of time to throw and as soon as lazy Riggs went out they showed they could help consistently turn in 100+ yard rushing games. What more can be said about the D?? I'm very pumped for a full year of Foster carrying the ball in '06.

I truly hope that Phil has learned from this year's QB mess and turns the team over to blue-chipper Jonathan Crompton from next year forward. Ainge was so inconsistent this season and I have serious questions about his intelligence. I dont know how he finds his way to the stadium.

Here's hoping the Vols find some degree of pride and kick some ass this weekend to at least end this mess on a positive note.
