I would like to add to a comment mentioned earlier which posed the question, "Who Cares"?
And this question is the greatest defeat of all. A combination of Philip's Fulmer lackadaisical coaching, Randy Sanders bull ****, high expectations for our receivers, over worked and under paid defense and a cocky quarter back who's only loyalty is to his own arm and how far he can push his name; This combination brought welcomed in a divided Team with little structure and leadership. Clausen may have saved the game on some occasions however, a persons character is best judged when they are down and if Clausen's behavior when the Vols were down is any sign of his character; he might as well get use to being the 4th stringer for his entire life. How dare Clausen speak negatively about the fans? The fans were his only hope and now that is gone. This brings me back to my original point. Who cares, The University of Tennessee is known for its fans and now the fans including my self have checked out. How terrible do you have to be to turn off 107,000 willing to give their right arm to cheer on the vols sacrificing money, time and travel? Worse then our record is the fact that with the help of Clausen's attitude and swagger, the Vols have lost the respect of the fans. I may bleed orange, but not untill next season. Clausen and Company find someone who cares! And I can tell ya now, its not gonna be The NFL!!
