...just because I did not address your "point" did not mean I missed it. I was just trying to be humorous with my opening statement. I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way. Sometimes I think it better not to address certain things I know we'll never agree on, especially when our disagreement is only a matter of degree.

I respect your opinion. I may not actually be from the leather helmet days, but I, too, am a graduate of Tennessee. To be truthful, "back in my day, the biggest game of the year was Alabama." From my freshman year in '82 through my senior year in '85, we defeated Bama 4 years in a row. "Back in my day, the Bear was coaching Bama (at least the first couple of years), and the gators were just an occasional bump in the road."

BTW, if you'll check out my previous posts, you'll find I also think that hiring Cutcliffe was a GOOD move. I listed the reasons why it was a good move as well. Thus I wasn't critical of Coach Fulmer and the UT athletic department's decision to bring him back onto the staff. I have not called Clausen, "baldy," nor did I ever call Ainge, "stupid." However, those who did have just as much right to do so on this board as you have to voice you own opinion. Whether it is constructive or not is irrelevant. This is a board for venting as much as it is for constructive criticism or just some good ole smack talk. I don't think any of it will wind up in the news or on an opponent's bulletin board. What we say here is not THAT important.

A proud member of the BOC VolEnforcement community.
