to respond to Tennessee's close call. I thought you would have been on here 10 seconds after the close of that game, if not before.
And yes, this is the defense Florida will be facing next week so long as Florida suddenly decides to implement the wishbone triple option as their offense. If they can run it as well as Air Force, there's a good chance they will run up and down on us alllllll night.
Despite the fact that the Air Force ran the triple option to perfection, it is still an embarrassment to our defense. Thus, they will be chomping at the bit to right the ship against the gators.
However, you are forgetting one thing. This is not the inconsistent Vols of 2005. Erik Ainge is not the hesitant, unconfident, inconsistent performer of the previous season. Just in case you didn't know, Erik threw for 333yds and 3tds (going 24 of 29 w/1int) against Air Force as well as the 298yds and 4tds against Cal. And one starter on our team never even got to play last night... the punter, Colquitt. We scored every time we had the ball except for the turnover. In two games Ainge has completed 35 of 47 passes(74.5%) for 624yds, 7tds and only 2ints... and his 226.63 passer rating leads the nation. Inconsistency of last year? NOT!
But you keep on believing that as long as it makes you feel more secure. I only hope the gators believe that same lie.
Have a nice week in fantasy land.
