| Our running game is still strong with Foster and Hardesty (as long as they secure the football). As for the LaMarcus remarkus... those "few runs" he is good for are usually game-breaking TD runs. He may not hit the holes harder, but he definitely hits them quicker than either Montario or Arian.
Our TE Brad Cottam came on strong last season to challenge Chris Brown as our best TE. But we do have others ready to step up to the challenge, so there shouldn't be a major problem.
Our biggest question mark on offense isn't at QB, RB, or TE though. It is at WR. I'm hoping to discover that the coaches have been purposely reserved on the development of our young receiver corp. Perhaps we'll find we do have a game-breaker and go-to WR during the Cal game. But I expect the TEs and RBs to catch a fair share of Ainge's passes in this game.
It's funny how the prognosticators are all taking Cal against the Vols. They say Cal is much improved over last year, that last year's receivers were young in the system, that QB Nate Longshore was inexperienced and still learning the system last year..., and that Tennessee had the dangerous experienced trio of WRs in Meachem, Swain and Smith...; but wait just one darn minute: aren't these the same prognosticators that picked Cal last year over Tennessee as well??? They are only showing how stupid they were last year to pick Cal to win over Tennessee (season home opener for the Vols). What a bunch of clowns!!!
