florida still betting all of it's marbles on tennessee

and coming up short with other teams in the sec. that's what eventually drove spurrier out of the sec and into the nfl, -at least i think so. they play wooses right up before the ut game, and then play the poop out of themselves during the ut game. i regret that the ut-fla game couldn't be played later in the year. unfortunatly florida is still probably usually the better team.

but as long as ut forces plays, and doesn't innovate, like every other coach has learned to do in the sec, then the ut-fla game is better off played at the end of the year, when both teams are banged up and the outcome hinges on athletic ability more than anything else. i don't know about this year in particular, but i think that summarizes most of the ut-fla games from peyton manning to present.

with the variety of player on the ut roster there is no reason why ut couldn't pull the rug out from under florida's feet in half of the ut-fla games, with the right coach. you don't even need stronger players which ut usually has.
