I just don't see the Vols winning this game, unless they have things that they haven't shown us. The offense can move the ball if they don't turn the ball over, but that defense stinks. We all now know that Sanders wasn't the problem. According to Majors, it is "that heavy-set guy that stabbed me in the back".

VW I'm surprized you're still a Fulmer faithful. what does it take before you realize it's time for a change ? If it's losing several more games this year that will soon be a reality. The defensive performance over the last three games indicates Chavis has no clue how to defend the offenses of the Fla., LSUs,S.C.s, Ark., Ken., whether it's spread or just running it up the middle. Tennessee has a very short window to act or it will fall to the levels of FSU, limited TV exposure and ultimately loss of significant revenue.
To be honest I sometime wonder if you're not a closet Gator or Dog with the crap you try to sell.
Just because Vol fans question the current path doesn't mean they have lost their way. To the contrary, it means they care enough to take proactive steps before the program falls behind.

what system are you babbling about ? B. Pearl is part of the system and he is innovative and encouraging. At this pace Mr. Pearl will be the revenue source and not the football program. Fulmer & staff are not evolving into the 21 century as the other programs in the SEC. He is so predictable everyone knows what scheme or call he makes in critical situation it's pathetic.
it's time for a change, the game has passed him by. He should work with under privilage kids, as a mentor, etc.. and the system should be looking for a your innovative coach to lead us into 2010.

I have been patient also, arguing with those about firing all the staff. Our defense has been weak for over 3 years now. I believed Fulmer when he promised a more physical team this year, I was willing to wait and see improvement. Where are the results? I don't expect to win the SEC every single year, this is the SEC you know. But with the money and tradition of UT, we should at least be in the hunt most years. The stats don't lie, in the 90's we were competitive most years, since 2001 we have been on the decline. You can only play ball control when you are successful running the ball and/or your defense pins the ears back on the other team. We can do neither. The word is out, "it is easier to play Tennessee, after you play them once!" .
He is afraid of a shootut, he's been quoted several times on this subject. Why? I dunno. If you can't stop the opposing team, unleash the hounds, come on' we have the most efficient passer returning as our QB!!
I like Fulmer, great recruiter, morals, good hearted man. After three years of promises to build this team and return to greatness, he has failed. Time to cut our losses and move ons.

We absolutely crushed you. Crushed. What a pathetic excuse for an SEC team. You all doubted Tebow and he punished you for it. That kid even right now is far more talented and dangerous than your sad senior QB. Watching that game it was clear that we have at least 6 receivers that would start ahead of anyone you had and Caldwell wasn't even playing. Tennessee currently is a program in decline. You are stuck living with the success you had in the 90s. Your talent level has fallen off considerably, probably due to that horrible recruiting class after going 5-6. Fulmer isn't half the coach that Meyer is even though he's twice the size.
Tennessee has officially fallen to 7th in the SEC pecking order. South Carolina has surpassed you as a program now.
So what's left for you now that your team has been sent home for the winter. Well I'm sure someone like the goon will say something like:
"Urban Meyer will be gone in two years to the NFL and then UF will be screwed"
Something desperate to hope for so that Tennessee will have some fighting chance against UF in the future. There is no hope for Tennessee against us next year. It will be a similar looking blowout in Knoxville. And I can tell you that Meyer will at least be in Gainesville another 5 or 6 years until his kids go through highschool.
The only way Tennessee will catch us now is if they replace Fulmer with a genius coach like Meyer. So long, cya next year when we kick your ass again.

OK here we go I officially start the campaign Lets Hire BILL COWER as coach. Tn is in need of a no nonsence get in your face type of coach. This guy would bring the perfect fit, a coach who is mean enought to kick the players ass when they don't play and will earn their respect for being that way. This guy can put the aTTitude back in UT football. God knows we need a new direction because we have gone down the wrong way for the last 10 yrs. This great program is getting left in the dust why other schools are waking up and bringing in coaches with balls and guts. Hell I say it now KY will go crazy against us this yr look how they played against Loisville yesterday. I hate to say it but it's going to be a long year in Big Orange Country.

let's see, we can't stop anyone on defense and we can't throw the long ball and we cannot score(TD's) when we are well inside the red zone. Oh, and our punt/kick coverage looks like the Keystone cops. However, we have a coaching staff that that comes up with and stays with a ball control game plan??????
If Ainge can't throw deep, get him out! We can't compete in the SEC soley on swing passes!
Foster should only be used as a return specailist. How many more big time, momentum killing fumbles does he have to commit before he cannot be trusted?
Until this team and coaches realize you have to do more than show up with a "T" on your helmet, to win a game we are doomed.
Florida looks stronger than they did last year, the LSU-gator game will be a battle royale.
We will be lucky to have ONE victory against a quality team.
