Response to Fulmer drew a line in the sand, and Coker snorted it.

Citing anonymous sources, ESPN.com reported on Thursday that Tennessee running back LaMarcus Coker’s suspension for Saturday’s game against Louisiana Lafayette came after the sophomore missed multiple counseling sessions required for violators of Tennessee’s drug-testing policy.

Because Coker missed the sessions, he was forced to submit to a drug test, according to the report. The results of that test are expected today.

Citing three previous failed tests, the Web site reported that Coker will be permanently dismissed if he fails another test.

Coker practiced with the Vols on Thursday.
