It has been the most unpredictable season that I can remember...and, I don't believe that all the upsets(if they are really upsets) are over with just yet. I also think that we are starting to see a trend in the SEC and college football in general(many more good football players comming out of HS, and many fewer scholarship players allowed on any one college team-(85) creating an atmosphere where teams will be on the top of their game for only brief periods...It doesn't take too many injuries, early declarations, etc. to really change the make up of a team. As the Georgia beat writer pointed out..."This is not our Daddy's SEC"...it's a new era, one with great parity. The one thing that I really hate is that this has created an environment much like the NFL or worse the NBA...where it's all about the money, greener pastures, and t-shirt sales. The days of dedication to "my team" seems to be givng way to "who's hot now"(I'm their fan), players going to the school with the HBC that tells them what they want to hear, coaches who would(and probably do) lie to their moms and would sell their sisters if the price was right However, I've decided that I'm going to enjoy the rest of this season...no matter what happens. GO VOLS beat Vandy!
