Response to Clawson?

Just from reading his Bio, it seems like he should be a good fit for Tennessee. His teams could not win championships without discipline, so he should be able to maintain that aspect of it while possibly taking the offense to another level. He apparently knows how to design and adjust the offense to fit the talent he has and is able to recruit well. The WRs coach we hired is the one he had at Richmond, who also was in charge of the recruiting. Combine that with Drayton's talents as a recruiter, and Tennessee should be able to maintain or better its success in that key area.

Perhaps the offense will better be able to control the clock and keep our defense off the field. In all fairness, however, it was our defense that saved our butts on several occasions this year including the bowl game. But somehow, I don't want to continue to have to depend on a defensive stop to save face. Our offense this past year went from being unstoppable to inept... all in the same game. Perhaps this new infusion of offensive minds is just the spark The Big O needs to become more consistent.
