non AKC agility?

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I have posted. It's good to be back. I was just wondering if anyone knows of agility events that do not require AKC papers. Last November I rescued a wonderful purebred 18 month old red dobie boy, from an animal shelter in New Jersey. He is absolutley gorgeous and came to me when I really needed him. ( I had just put my red dobie girl Ella to sleep, she had bone cancer, she was only 8). He is very smart and very high energy. I thought that agility would be right up his alley as he loves to run and jump and show off. Unfortunatly every site I go on is AKC and I don't have papers for him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
