Hello Sifu!Hope you had a good weekend. Read the new jeet kune do post, very good stuff. There's a part of it that says something about hacking away the unessentials to obtain simplicity. And it got me thinking about the post you made on Howard Williams' jeet kune do. You said it was very streamlined and that you thought that there was more to jeet kune do than what he teaches or taught. You talked about a few trapping movements, bai jong, some footwork, few strikes and kicks. Is it possible for you to go in detail regarding the content of what he teaches. What is missing from his jeet kune do that in your opinion should be there? Thanks .

Javier

Touchy Subject!

Hello Javier!

Sorry, but I do not dicuss things like this! It is out of respect for the First Generation students of Bruce Lee! If you want to know more about what Howard teaches, eaither find someone who knows him or trains with him and ask them, or contact Howard personally! Besides, what I think is my opinion, and may not be shared by others! Nothing personal toward you! I hope you get where I am coming from here!

Its no problem at all Sifu. I completely understand. If I were in your position I would definitely respond the same way. Am sorry for asking such a complicated, if not sensitive question. Thanks for answering though.
