It is where you kick, touchdown and shuffle forward real fast and kick again. It is used when an opponent tries to retreat from the first kick. They would not be expecting you to pursue so rapidly and kick again! A very good tactic to master!
2. In the outline of Lesson 2 on page 301, how do you perform a Side kick with retreat?
From your bai jong, take a stutter step (short step used to initiate momentum in a certain direction) back and then immediately execute a side kick with your lead leg. Used when someone suddenly advances on you.
