Good cardio training

Hey gys, Are there any good cardio training exercises besides running? I need to build my cardio in 2.5 weeks. Any suggestions?

with "Wind Sprints". What are they?

Wind Sprints

Hi Dick!

Wind sprints are commonly employed by football players or other "endurance" athletes that may have to run ALL OUT for short bursts (making the tackle, etc.). They are usually fifty yards, but can be longer or shorter. You get on the starting mark, have someone say "go" and run as fast and hard as you can for the fifty yards (or whatever distance you select). Walk back, then do it again for as many sets as you can! That, my friend, is wind sprints! It is not uncommon for someone to "lose their lunch" while doing these!

Endurance

Last night in JKD class we did a circuit for 30 mins, sprints ,pushups ,situps ,etc
We then did a one hour class of trapping and energy drills.
The next hour was spent doing hard punching combs 3 min rounds with a partner wearing a belly pad and holding thai pads.
This was very hard training and people felt a bit sick at the time but shortly after felt great and very lively.
Give it a try and see how it goes.
