Hello Sifu ! It may not be a Blonde thing at all, It may just be Stupid but, what is the difference between the Jik Tek thrusting delivery and the Dum Tek Lead leg thrusting delivery to the Rib / solar plexus area? Thanks, Lance

Hi Lance!

The Jik Tek thrusts with the toe/ball of the foot, as if to punch a hole in the opponent. It is a piercing type impact. The Dum Tek stamps into the opponent using the heel/bottom of the foot, as if you are trying to shatter their entire ribcage! In other words, it is as if you are attempting to leave a perfect print of your exact shoe size on them!

In this spirit order, dum tek is a sole kick? It's exact or not?

Yes, when delivered as a straight stamp kick, the dum tek uses the entire sole of the shoe. The primary emphasis is still to use the heel as the main stamping tool. I have taken an opponent clean off their feet with this kick! Talk about stopping someone cold in their tracks!
