with certain OBLS teaching their JKD which one is the true and real JKD? I have read articles and posts on forums and books by some of the leading OBLS and only one is claiming what he is teaching is the real stuff or at least what the BLF is calling the official JKD. The other OBLS tell you that this is what Bruce taught them. I think it is time that all OBLS get the recognition of knowing a part of the whole picture. Sifu Davis has and continues to find, learn and piece together all these parts.

I think we have a responsiblity to promote and continue this process. First we must learn and continue to learn and evolve. Second we must support not only Sifu but the organization (US) by attending camps, class and at least a seminar or two. I see people like Lance Webb and Scott Fletcher coming all the way from Kansas or Phillip and Martin from Montreal to train at least once a year. Jeremy from MS comes over or Dick Jefferies from Mobile comes up at least once to twice a year. What I don't see is several local, Birmingham area and Alabama, people attending at least one event. We claim we want to learn or have someone in for a seminar etc... but we fail to show the dedication and/or support for something as the monthly seminar. Regardless of your level I am talking to all of you either get with the program or get out of the way so that the few and faithful can carry on. You can start by using this board/forum. If you respect Sifu, this organization and your fellow students you will start.

That pretty much expresses my sentiments exactly! We have THE MOST COMPLETE curriculum for Jun Fan Gung Fu/Jeet Kune Do around! If I had more dedication shown by my members, there is NO END to what all I could accomplish! One thing is for sure ... I know that YOU are 100%+ dedicated to EVERYTHING that I work to accomplish! It is more appreciated than you know!

Another major reason for my move back home is to be back near Sifu Davis so I can be there to train with him (and all of you) every chance I get! I ALWAYS learn new things from Sifu Davis. Even when he goes over something I have seen once or twice before, I manage to learn a new detail from something that he says about what he is teaching. I feel humbled every time I train with him, especially when he goes into the reasons behind certain moves, or for instance, how they were developed.
