| I know Bruce was a big fan of Jiddu Krishnamurti, as he always talked about destroying the ego. I ask you guys, you think in Layman's terms, all this means is to get rid of superficial pretenses and just do it.
Example if I were to apply this philosophical stuff to something practical, I would say:
If I saw Fedor Emelianenko (Undefeated Russian Sambo MMA guy) beating my mother or threatening to harm my girlfriend, I don't think I would care if he is one of the greatest fighters in the world. Only thing I know is, he messed with the wrong people I would do my hardest to put him in the hospital. See there no questions asked, no worry of status, just pure old instinct and emotion.
I mean it sounds tough, but hey every body has a pair of eyes, a groin area and a throat hit.

it also means that just because you are senior to someone or more advanced you are not better than that person. In the Hardcore classes we do the basics at the begining of class. It does not matter if you are a full instructor or just a beginner you do them, Now the senior may help you with them but they are no better than you. I punch harder and you kick higher; who is the better satudent? Neither one is. Each has a strength and weakness.
Also Fedor has been beaten but it has been along time now.
