Hello Robert!
Welcome to the forum! I think that ALL work on the mook jong is good, as long as you are concentrating on good form with your movements, and working sequences that flow smoothly from on to the next. I personally do not work any specific "form" on the mook jong, but instead freeestyle, emphasizing proper flow and realistic sequences. I have studied the forms and taken some of the movements and worked them, as the flow is excellent. You can't go wrong with mook jong training as long as you (1) practice the movements correctly, (2) keep the sequences realistic and (3) bring the mook jong to life using your imagination. The main problem that most have is that they continue to look at the mook jong as just an inanimate wooden object! You MUST use your imagination and "bring it to life", as if it were a live opponent attacking you! That is when your training will become much more interesting and you will really start to benefit from it!
