I joined a fitness gym two weeks age for rehab,I was on break between sets and thought of Bruce lee training on the power rack, in that photo where is raiseing his arm and pulling up.
I went to the power rack put on 145 pounds and lifted it and held it for awile, holding the bar on my forearms.
Two hours later, I feel really great.
Thank you Bruce Lee.

Isometrics

June 11 2008, 7:14 PM

Hello!

If you are talking about the photo that I think you are referring to, that is actually an isometric movement that Bruce Lee is doing on the power rack. He is creating his own resistance by pressing upward with the top of his wrists against a padded bar that cannot move. I do this often myself, and it is great for the forearms!

Same picture. It's like an isometric, except I wanted to see what weight I could use in the movement.I just held the bar on my forearms until I could not hold it anymore.
