Starting chelation soon, some doubts...

by Elizabeth

This is my first post to this board. My son (age 4.5, asperger's) seems to have finally licked the yeast and clostridia, and we're trying to zinc him up prior to starting chelation. I have some doubts about chelation, and I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on this.

My primary concern is that chelation won't produce any improvements. You see, my son did not have regressive autism. In fact, he had the marks of his present problems, starting with lack of eye contact, noticeably from 2 months of age -- and he was exclusively breastfed (no, I didn't eat a lot of fish or have dental work done), AND has never had antibiotics, AND didn't have vaccinations until later on.

So... Is my son just one of those kids, apparently few in number, that are on the spectrum, but can't blame vaccinations or antibiotics?

Can anyone here tell me they were in this situation and still saw improvements with chelation?

Elizabeth
