My son had his eyes dilated last year and it never even occurred to me that they might contain mercury. I will be checking. I will let you know what I find out. I do know that many contact lens solutions have mercury and here is a site that lists many mercury containing OTC and prescription drugs.
This is a very good one. Since it is from the FDA I have always assumed that it would list any and all medicines containing mercury. I don't know if there is a minimum amount that the drug must contain before it makes this list or if all drugs (regardless of the amount) have to be listed. But I do know that it was written into law not very long ago that the FDA would be responsible for keeping track of drugs that contain mercury. I just read about that somewhere very recently. I will try and find that article too.
