Okay, I got a response....what do you think?

SENT ON BEHALF OF SHERRI NELSON

Dear Ms. Shirley Newsome:

Thank you for contacting us regarding our seating procedures. We appreciate your viewpoint, and like you, we are concerned with the special needs of our
guests.

Many of our guests feel their individual and unique needs require special treatment, including preferential seating. We want to provide that special
treatment to all our guests equally. Rather than attempting to differentiate between the many unique situations, we strive to make every guest feel special by providing the best dining experience possible. To
deliver that experience, we expect all members of our team to be compassionate and concerned about the comfort of any guest visiting us.

We particularly appreciate and share your concern for the treatment of autistic children. Our parent company, Darden Restaurants, helped to fund the Space Coast Early Intervention Center in Florida last year. As you may know, SCEIC targets the crucial early development years of the autistic child. Olive Garden restaurants also work with similar groups in their
individual communities. For example, just last fall Olive Garden helped sponsor the 2nd Annual Autism Ribbon Run in North Carolina, organized by the
Autism Foundation of North Carolina.

Again, we appreciate hearing from you and share your sensitivity. We hope we can look forward to the privilege of serving you at Olive Garden in the
future.

Sincerely,

Sherri Nelson
