I bought a Cottage 18 months ago and was very damp when we moved in. The house was full of woodlice, we're still having problems with them even though we've dried it out. The main problem is outside, they eat at the plaster and the garden seems infested with them. They still manage to get in the house but not as bad as when we moved in. Have you got any ideas? I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Woodlice are more of a nuisance pest, but if still getting into house look for cracks crevices where they can enter.
Also remove any wood dead vegetation near house by this I mean cuttings, logs on path or stacked against wall.
There are powders available to use by householders, but normally clearing there nooks and crannies helps/works.
I spray residual in cracks/crevices and a little later seal with caulk, as insecticide works woodlice appear like magic.
Hope this is of use, Hugh must be too busy to reply
